You always pay a price. Whether it's with money, time, effort, attention, or something else, you pay.
Creating what you want isn't about avoiding the price but about figuring out what is important enough to pay for.
As a business owner, for example, you will have to pay the price of self-discipline. Nobody tells you what to do and when, which is freedom. But to make it work, you will have to pay with self-discipline.
Entrepreneurship (or Anything Else) Comes with a Price...
If you choose entrepreneurship, you get the reward of following what excites you. But you also pay with the ability to stomach uncertainty, the unknowns, customer demands, and much more.
If you want a fit body, you can have it, but there is a price to pay in terms of time, effort, and consistency.
When you want a car, it has a price; when you want a relationship, it has a price; marriage has a price.
The price can be something you pay in terms of investments or you pay in terms of giving something up.
You might give up options, comfort, pleasure, and doing what you prefer at this moment, or it can be money, time, and attention that you'll invest.
There is always a price to pay. The real question is not if you will pay it but what you are willing to pay for the life you want to live.
