As I keep exploring my own health and fitness journey, my writing, building a team (currently we are 4 people), coaching, and the development of retreats and programs (Being Business Intensive, Inner Freedom Retreat, Mastering Self Expression, and more), I keep realising how many of my old systems (and attachments, see the post from 19th of January) are insufficient to support what I am up to.

For a long time my system for doing something evolved around how much motivation I had to do it, if I felt like doing it, or if I was inspired to do it.

When you start being up for taking on greater responsibility in your life, that system will fail you, at least that’s my experience.

What I am discovering is that I have to invent a new relationship to structure, systems, and processes that require a new “Moritz” to execute them.

All sorts of attachments or old systems needed to go.

Things like:

- Structure is limiting

- I do what I want when I want it

- I do things when I feel like doing them

- My intuition will tell me when to do it

- I am not a structured person

- I am impulsive and go with the flow

- I am different than others and therefore don’t need to follow structures or what seems to work (that’s a funny one I still like to play with)

Whereas all these attachments aren’t inherently bad or good, they simply do not support my current commitment to what I am building.

As my relationship to systems and structure transformed it looks to me like freedom can be found in inventing and committing to systems that I create.
