The fundamental error

August 5, 2024

We wake up to a way of being and acting that seems so pervasive that most of us never question its validity and stability.

We wake up into a world that IS, and a self we ARE, and if not questioned, this then is how it IS.

But things aren't fixed.

And one of the things that is most likely the least fixed is you.

Your personality, the way you behave, the thoughts you have, and the personality traits you subscribe to are important.

Almost everything you know about yourself and the world is created through neural pathways in your brain that, if fired, create a perception pattern, an action pattern, a feeling pattern, and if fired repeatedly, they like to be fired again and again.

Now, if that were the whole story, you'd be deemed to the ways of being and acting you most often repeated.

The fixed persona idea would be proven right, and this would be the end of the story.

However, neuroscience disagrees with that notion, having discovered something called neuroplasticity.

The ability of the brain to create new patterns until... until we die! Yes you heard me right. Until you die your brain can change.

Nature has created a miracle by creating the human brain. A biocomputer that can be programmed by itself.

And to access the programming board, all you need is the openness to actually be able to create new pathways and practice doping.

There is no day in which you do not have the power to create new patterns. No moment in which you can't get behind your programming board.

The only thing that can keep you from owning that power is your belief that you don't have it.

You are the determining factor of power in your own life, and that is exciting news.

Life does not need to be a mere striving for survival; it can be a creative act in which you make up the games you play and the characters you want to play with.

In doing so, you are authentically human.

As there is nothing more inauthentic than the story that YOU have no power in life.

Life is the playing field of the creator, and you are that.

A creator.
