What am I working on? 🎬

This week, I am helping out my mentor, Ria, who I get to learn from and be coached by, and who has impacted my life and work to a degree that not many people ever have (maybe Mum and Dad since they birthed me).

Being a whole week in the kitchen and cooking with her partner (which I love to do) while a group of women led by Ria look deep into who they are and what they want to bring to this life and to let go of what is in the way of their full self-expression.

It is truly great to see it from this angle when I am usually in the room leading, and someone else is taking care of us.

And here is the great thing I can learn.

No matter where you are and what you do, you take yourself with you. While so many people out there try to create the perfect conditions for what they think life should look like, one can be standing in a kitchen, getting something real for your life.

Like insides into business...

Here is what the kitchen has taught me so far:

Food doesn't care about your feelings; if you leave it in the oven for too long, it will burn.

It is the same with your great ideas... If you never put them out, they burn.

So put them in the world instead of letting them burn in your head.

Okay, enough for now... Let's dive into our ideas for the week! 👇

Ideas from Me:

1. "Your word to yourself creates who you are for yourself. When your relationship with your own word is broken, you can't expect to build something great."

2. "While everyone is looking at what the market wants, you have something unique to share. If all you are looking at is the market, this song might never play. Expression of Self will never fail you, but it might not make you rich."

3. "I don't know how often I need to hear this one...  You will die; make your move."

Ideas from Others:

All that matters is that you are making something you love, to the best of your ability, here and now.

Question to Ponder:

Where is trying to get somewhere driving me instead of being present to what is?
